Greetings and Salutations Jersey Drivers
For those of
you with roots in New Jersey, let’s give a shout-out to the most
infamous stretch of pavement in the state: the Route 3 and 46
interchange.
There is truly nowhere else quite like it. It
is a place where you can attempt to stay within the lines while dodging
reckless drivers and navigating a road that feels like a high-stakes
stunt course. Between the abandoned construction debris and the rotting
steel girders, the scenery is as unique as the driving experience. For
those of us with dash cams, it provides endless entertainment.
We also want to
acknowledge the "lane slugs" who make the commute so memorable: the
people applying makeup in the left lane, the distracted gamers, and
those who linger in the fast lane just to block others. A special salute
goes to the Jitney bus drivers perfecting the "Jersey Slide" across
multiple lanes to reach the Route 21 exit, the aggressive drivers who
prefer hand gestures to turn signals, and the dump truck operators who
seem to think the left lane is their personal club. We also can’t forget
the school vans reaching hyper-speed during the morning rush. I know
some kids that have permanent facial stretch marks!
Finally, it is
always remarkable to see the same unmarked police cars navigating the
traffic at the exact same time every day. We think we know what’s
happening there.
Safe driving out
there! Remember it is Jersey After all!
Best regards,
The Snappypants
Family!
